What is PADI Emergency First Response?

The PADI Emergency First Response course is a 1-day course specially designed to transform you into a PADI first responder, ready to act in any emergency scenario.

This engaging and interactive course offers hands-on experience in administering CPR using a special manikin and practising bandaging and splinting. It’s structured into two parts: theory and practical skills.

You’ll cover both Primary and Secondary Care, learning how to handle life-threatening emergencies like a non-breathing patient, shock, and spinal injuries, as well as non-life-threatening conditions to alleviate pain and prevent further injury.

Through practical exercises and role-playing scenarios, you will practise eight primary care skills, including CPR and rescue breaths, as well as secondary care skills, such as injury assessment and bandaging.

Notes

You can conveniently study the theory online or offline using your computer or mobile device before diving into practical lessons with your instructor. Doing the theory exams in advance will shorten your time in the classroom.

Course Itinerary Example

Our PADI Emergency First Response course offers a balanced blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. With flexible course dates, you can easily find a slot that fits your schedule.
